Derelict
A downloadable game
17th of February, 2093.
Humankind has invented Faster-Than-Light travel, but it is too costly to use regularly.
To study the Proxima Centauri system in detail with minimal travel, humanity must accomplish their greatest feat of engineering yet.
Enter the Event Horizon, a titanic self-sustaining colony ship and all-in-one scientific and industrial platform fit for up to 2000 people.
During construction, Lead Shipwright Katherine Brooke stayed after shift to finish wiring its main engine when a random misfire hurtles the ship to the edge of the solar system.
She is alone, more alone than anyone in human history has ever been. No-one can help her.
Derelict is a physics-based puzzle-platformer inspired by Arkane Studio's Prey (2017), Valve's Half-Life (1998) and Blackbird Interactive's Hardspace Shipbreaker (2022). You play as Lead Orbital Shipwright Katherine Brooke, forced to navigate the damaged and unfinished colony ship at the edge of the solar system.
In order to survive, activate the Deep Space Beacon installed in the ship's Bridge and return home safe, you must salvage, manipulate and manoeuvre through the Event Horizon and it's sprawling wings and machinery using salvaged and improvised tools to use the laws of physics to your advantage.
